Froggy and I have decided to address this subject before someone actually submits something concerning slash and certain ships, or before another club that is a slash club or ship club asks us to affiliate them.

Slash:

Slash is a couple that is dating that consists of both people of the same gender.
boy/boy (Lupin and Sirius) or girl/girl. (Tonks and Fleur)

The coin is still in the air on this one, so we ask you not so submit any slash until we decide weather or not to accept it. Froggy and I are both against slash but cannot decide if we should allow it or not. The simple thing to do is to say that we don’t agree with any slash and therefore won’t allow it but, we’re not sure if that is the best course for the club. So until further notice; no slash.

Ships

Short for ‘relationship’ it is a cannon or made up pairing that is dating, engaged or married

The most common ship seen here will of course be Tonks/Lupin. However there are certain ships we will NOT allow or affiliate with. These are the kind of a pedophilic nature. Meaning an adult dating, or kissing a child or teen in a sexual way. The most common ship of this kind we have found is Hermione/Snape. In this club artwork or fan fiction or club wishing to affiliate, containing any pedophilic romantic pairing will not be accepted. We cannot in all good conscience have these ships in this club. Since we are a Tonks club, some examples would be Harry/Tonks, Ron/Tonks, or Hermione/Tonks.

We will accept the ship of Tonks/Sirius since in the book there are cases where people closer then third cousin marry. (which is why the pure-blood wizarding families like the Gaunts are inbreed.)

But no matter what ship you choose, keep in mind that we will not accept anything more graphic then the books. The books never go any further then snogging and we will not accept anything that is too promiscuous.
